has served as HCSIL’s Executive Director with distinction for 25 years. She is only the third person to occupy this position and the director with the longest tenure at HCSIL and one of the longest-serving directors in the entire HRA program. The founding program director, Allen Rosen, served from 1980-1990 and continues to provide pro-bono consultant services to the agency.
Ms. Confident is an experienced bilingual Public Health Nurse who holds a Masters Degree in Health Science Administration. Ms. Confident first joined HCSIL in 1984 as a Field Nurse Supervisor worked her way up to Assistant Director for Field Operations, and was appointed Program Director in 1995. Her first-hand knowledge of all phases of agency operations from these different vantage points makes her an informed and insightful administrator. She knows what to look for in assessing agency and individual performance, and quality care. Ms. Confident is a member of the Board of Trustees for the 1199 Benefit, Health, Education and Pension funds, and was a member of the Service Operation Committee of the Home Care Council.
